“The King will reply, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
— Matthew 25:40
God spoke to me today, He said, “Give me shelter.”
God spoke to me today, He said, “Clothe me.”
God spoke to me today, He said, “Feed me.”
God spoke to me today, He said, “Love me.”
God speaks through all those around me–when they ask for something and I give it–I am giving it to my Lord.

In just a few hours, many members of Second Church will set out to serve the Lord through their work in Baltimore City. Today is our annual mission day. It s a day when we intentionally reach beyond the wall of Second through multiple projects in the city.
Today young and those a little older [smile], are gathering to clean up the Jones Falls, make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for Our Daily Bread, and paint shutters on the McKim Center. It is amazing what a different any size group can make when joined together in a common mission.
Sharing the love of Christ and seeing Christ’s face in those you serve and those who serve with you—-that’s what it is all about!
